MESSAGE FROM FMCV LEADERS

Since time immemorial, the Hopi Tewa people have survived all the hardships of life; including diseases, illnesses and pandemics. As a resilient people we have survived all the adversities for thousands of years.
We must now, separate ourselves and refrain from gatherings as well as gathering around the table, even during funerals. During this time, funerals should be reserved to immediate family only. You are encouraged to help your family and relatives with monetary donations, or donation drop offs. Please AVOID Sharing Food and AVOID Gatherings.
This is only for a short time compared to the centuries we have lived together and shared our homes and ate together. When this pandemic passes, we can practice our Hopi cultural and traditional ways again. Pray each day, for good health, safety, prosperity and long lives.
